- The retaining nut that is designed to prevent the boat’s steering cable from detaching from the boat’s engine may fail. If the retaining nut fails, this could lead to a loss of steering control of the boat. Steering loss may cause an accident, resulting in death or injury to the boat occupants or bystanders.
- Recomendaciones
- Consumers should contact the dealer who they bought the boat from to arrange for inspection and replacement of the cable if required, free of charge. Consumers should not use the boat until it has been checked and, if required, the steering cable is replaced.
