- The centre bore locating ring may not be suitable size for the wheel, which may cause the ring to wear over time and the wheel to loosen. If the wheel loosens, this can result in loss of vehicle control. If this occurs this can increase the risk of an accident or injury to the driver or bystanders. In the event of a serious accident, this may result in death.
