- The treadmill does not comply with the mandatory standard 'Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard) (Treadmills) Regulations 2009'. The treadmill does not have the required warning label attached. Absence of the warning label means that the user may not be aware of potential hazards and the treadmill may be used in an unsafe manner. The user, bystanders or children may suffer severe friction burns if contact is made with the moving mat.
- Recomendaciones
- Owners of affected treadmills will be contacted in writing and sent a copy of the warning label with a leaflet explaining where to attach the warning label. Consumers will be requested to provide Kogan with a photograph of the attached label to ensure it has been attached correctly.
